Basic Rental Info

  • Where is our check-in desk located?

    Check in is on Benito Juarez, at the Playa Sonora Realty office

  • Can I cancel my reservation?

    You may cancel within the first 48 hours of booking the reservation with a full refund. Cancellations 30 or more days prior to arrival (60 or more days for all Holiday periods) are refundable minus a 15% service charge. We are unable to offer refunds on reservations cancelled within 30 days of the check-in date, (60 or more days for Winter Holiday periods), unless you purchase our optional Trip Protection plan and the reason for cancellation falls within the trip protection guidelines.

  • Do you offer a no-contact check-in option?

    No, you must check in, in person, with a valid ID and credit card matching the ID.

  • How old do I need to be to reserve a Home or Condo?

    25 or older with a valid ID.

  • Do you require an initial deposit?

    Yes, 50% of the total rental will be required as a deposit.

  • When is the balance due?

    Balance is due 10 days prior to your arrival.

  • Do I need to sign a rental contract in order to secure my reservation?

    Yes, an executed rental contact is required.

  • How do I pay for a reservation?

    You can pay online or call us to reserve.

  • If I book online, is my rental guaranteed?

    Yes. In the event we can not fulfill your specific room request we will assign you to another room or refund your deposit.

  • Do I need to pay a security deposit?

    Yes, there is required refundable security deposit.

  • How do I check-in?

    Please bring your photo ID and the credit card you used to reserve the reservation.

  • How do I obtain the keys?

    Come to our check in location as indicated on your confirmation. We are open from 9am-5pm. We are available outside of these for check-out or check-in with advance notice, or if there are extenuating circumstances with your arrival time due to travel delays.

  • What is the check-out procedure?

    Check out is at 11am. Please drop your key off from where you checked in. If you plan on checking out prior to 9am, please let us know so one of our staff can meet you at the office.

  • Do I have to check-in by a certain time?

    If you plan on checking in after 5pm, please contact us so a member of our team can be on call for your arrival. Arrivals after 10pm with incur a $20 late fee.

  • Do you allow early check-ins?

    We do not allow early check-ins. Check in is at 4pm. If you arrive early, we can direct you to a variety of restaurants/bars in the nearby Malecon while you wait.

  • Can I get a late check-out?

    Yes, you can request a late check out. If our front desk determines a late check out is available, the cost will be an additional $40 dollars for each hour. Check out can be no later than 1pm.
